On June 8, 2016, in the Hilton Hotel, the sixth edition of the National Competition “The Greatest Companies in Bulgaria” was held, which became an emblem of responsible business in the country. and awarded the greenest companies operating in Bulgaria. Small and large companies have shown and proven that they are really achieving changes in their environmental performance and developing their business in a way that is environmentally responsible.
The study is unique for Bulgaria, taking into account the achievement of “green” goals and corporate strategies. The survey is for companies that have green investments and causes for a healthier environment.
This year a record number of participants took part in the competition. Over 60 companies competed in the competition for the “Green Oscars” in the competition. In the 13 main categories, companies from all sectors of the economy in Bulgaria challenged their “green” policies and messages.
First place in the category “Recycling industry” , waste management ”won ECO PAC Bulgaria AD, followed by OP“ Sofia Waste Treatment Plant ”in second place and Fierhauten Bulgaria OOD in third place.
