The event is an expression of recognition to all those who over the years “build foundations, pave roads and unite us”, to all who dared to be the first and turn Gabrovo into Bulgarian Manchester, those who contributed to the establishment of our region as industrial, intellectual and cultural center, to all whose work, efforts, aspirations and dreams give them a place among the successful – the business people in the Gabrovo region.

“There will be no evaluations today, because your achievements have been evaluated many times and at different levels. Take tonight as a message and the awards as a recognition. And it is for each of you, no matter the number of your employees and how big your business is, because you all care about the prosperity of the residents of our region. “- said in his speech the regional governor Nevena Petkova.

The Business Awards “The Courage to Be First” were also honored by Deputy Prime Minister Tomislav Donchev, who greeted the guests and stressed that more should be said about entrepreneurs, because this is a vocation that deserves very high public respect.

“There is no school for entrepreneurs as well as for talents, but we must make it necessary for our society to produce more enterprising people who have the skills, audacity and courage to take risks and enable others to compete with others, because business is an eternal race. ”

In the category “SOCIALLY ENGAGED BUSINESS” among the nominated companies found a place and UCO Bulgaria.
